There is a reason that athletes want to go to Disney World after a long, winning season.. And it's because they deserve it! Lets face it, no matter what your age, going to Disney World can be a dream come true. Bring the kids or bring your current partner, either way the thrills and fun comprise into a adventure of a lifetime. Sure I might be over the top for some, but personally I can't get enough of the place and if you've been there I am sure you feel the same way. Disney World Orlando at Christmas time is one of the best times to bring the kids to the magical kingdom. The theme parks collectively give live performances as well as spectacular night shows to attract the holiday crowd. The holiday crowd happily accepts and pack these parks throughout the holiday season. Now just saying shows are going on is not reason enough visit these parks, so lets get right into what kind of things you can experience during these festive times. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party includes special parades matching that memorable mouse with the Christmas spirit, with the addition of fireworks and stage shows to boot. There are select show times between November 10th and December 19th, all being shown at the Magic Kingdom park. If that doesn't encourage you, maybe that extra incentive of complimentary cookies and hot chocolate will (I kid you not). The Walt Disney Resort offers its own holiday celebrations, some of which are hard to ignore. From November 28th until December 30th , there will be a nightly candlelight processional narrated by a special guest celebrity. As I anxiously await Neil Patrick Harris's narration, Disney continues to deliver with holiday storytellers from around the world, including Santa Claus! 'Let There be Peace on Earth' will be featured nightly during the special light and sound show hosted at the World Showcase Lagoon. Lastly, over at Disney's Hollywood Studios there will be a mystifying light show, with synchronized dancing lights accompanied by falling snowflakes, holiday music and Santa himself! All these events last through the holidays, leaving little to the imagination in the form of entertainment during your stay. Now that the incentives have been laid out, ask yourself what other time of year is so much offered in addition to the many features the parks themselves include. Visiting Disney World Orlando at Christmas time is possibly the finest time to travel anywhere, ever. Sure that sounds over the top, but given the possibly endless activities to engage in while visiting, there are very few competitive comparisons. If you're planning a trip, strongly consider Disney as a prime choice during the holidays.
