The Truth About Free Trial Health Supplements Online

By: Penny Michaels

I witnessed a conversation today at the gym and it kind of agitated me, so I figured I would write about it to share my thoughts. The conversation was happening between two other ladies and they were discussing the free trial vitamin supplements provided on line. One girl, her name is Mary, had just received a free bottle of an acai berry supplement sent to her house and was pumped up about it and was sharing the news with another girl Stephanie. Stephanie instantly began telling Mary that she had been milked, and the way in which the overall free trial deal on the web is a cheat and how nothing in life is free, how her credit card was going to be billed over and over and there is nothing she can do about it. Yada, yada yada. Mary went from extremely excited to really shameful but she really needn't feel that way. I'll tell you why.
I myself get free products from the net all of the time. I've received trials of acai berry supplements, resveratrol supplements, colon cleansing products, acai with green tea extract, you name it, I in all likelihood used it or still do. Was I a victim of a scam? Not in the least. So, what's all the talk about being tricked and the way in which the products are not really free, or whether they actually even work?
Let me try to reply to these questions one at a time. Are the products free? Not entirely, but for the most part, yeah. You see, you are given a trial bottle of the supplement, whether it be a fourteen day trial, 30 day trial, whichever. However, you have got to pay for the freight charges. For the most part it's less than 10 bucks. That's where the primary cost comes in. So why do they charge freight and offer the product free of charge? Well, a lot of folks will not try something if they are not sure if it works, but if they don't have a whole lot to lose, they would give it a try. The company's know this, which is the reason why they give you the 1st bottle free. They ask for a card number to pay for shipping because they are confident about their products and they would like you to continue as a customer, so the fine print is that they will charge your creditcard again after 30 days and send you an additional bottle. If you don't want to be charged because the product didn't work for you, and it may not work because everybody is different, than just phone the toll free number to cancel it. It's as straightforward as that. And you will not be billed again. I have done this time after time without bother and I pay close attention to my credit card bills and have seen no shady business going on.
You see, providing something for no cost up front, asking for a Visa to pay the freight, and rebilling monthly is a winning business design. It works, that's the reason why these companies do it. They know what works and they want to earn money. I don't believe that any of them are looking to sting anyone or they would not be in business very long. Most of the customers like the product and get results so these companies know they'll recoup the costs of offering something free. Plus I'm sure they get a decent margin so it doesn't take them long.
Now, using famous stars to help with promotion is a bit underhanded I admit, but that's been going on for years . Watch any commercial and see if you are unable to spot a celeb. And do you believe they really use the product being advertised. Doubtful. They likely do it for the paycheck. Those sorts of promos online are being cracked down on so you almost certainly won't see much of that anymore anyway.
As for the safety of the products, I myself only look for superfoods or supplements that are made naturally. I do not look for weight reduction products with chemicals and other junk. I am getting products that promote well being, not ones that make me more ill. In the case of acai, I will be getting very powerful antioxidants to keep the free radicals in check. For colonic cleansing products, I am going to be getting assistance ridding my body of built up waste and losing weight in the process.
That's it for now. Hope I cleared up any confusion and that you are feeling more secure about any free trial product offers available on the web.

I'm a proud user of free trial natural nutritional supplements online. The thing is, I do not desire to spend money on something that doesn't work for my body type, so I'm happy I am offered an inexpensive test price (the shipping). Though I can't attest for all free trial offers online, here are a pair I've been successful with: Super Acaiblast and Reviews On Resveratrol.
